Many of our local high schools offer workforce training programs that train students in the basic principles of trades such as welding and oil and gas production as the students work towards their diploma. We’re also home to the esteemed North Central Texas College, the oldest continuously operating two-year college in the State of Texas. North Central Texas College spans five campuses and offers 58 different degree programs, including electrical, HVAC, industrial machining, and mechanics.

Bowie 4B Board breaking ground for new industrial technology center.

Industrial Technology Center

The Campus now boasts an $2.9 Million - 8,750-square-foot Industrial Technology Center that will be home to a welding and machining lab and also be the new location for the petroleum technology program. The Information Technology Center is Southeast of the present building on the NCTC Campus which originally opened in January of 2000.
